The Tenant Participation Agreement

We give all tenants a copy of the Mendip Housing Tenant Participation Agreement. This is an agreement about how we work with our tenants and how our services are run.

The Tenant Participation Agreement covers areas such as how all tenants can become involved in setting policies and practices that have a direct impact on them and how residents are represented in our decision-making processes.

Resident Involvement Strategy & Action Plan

We have also developed a Resident Involvement Strategy after consulting tenants and residents, and have an ongoing action plan agreed by the Tenants' Federation. Recent actions have included improving communication by using plain English, running membership campaigns and developing a wider range of consultation methods, including surgeries and focus groups.

If you would like a copy of the action plan, please contact the Community & Resident Involvement Team on 01749 334453, email us or write to them at our head office.

This has been developed with the Sheltered Housing Tenants’ Forum.

If you would like a copy of the compact, please contact the Community & Resident Involvement Team on 01749 334453, email us or write to them at our head office.
